Kitchen Sponge Puppets
Trying to find some fun summer crafts for kids can be challenging. With just a few household supplies and some creative craft supplies, you can let the kids create their own sponge characters.

Instructions
- Slide the popsicle stick into the bottom of the sponge being careful not to rip it. You might need scissors to create a small hole to get you started. I recommend hot glueing the stick so it doesn’t fall off.
- Have your child create their own monsters with all the gems, eyes, and stickers you can find! We’ve recommended some of our favorites and the ones we’ve used above. Keep in mind that some of the sticks, gems, and eyes, you might need to secure with hot glue.
- That’s it! The kids can now play with their kitchen sponge puppets.
